Mahjong Time Lite App Reviews

So so

Good app for those who like to play mah Jong. Two things keep the rating at three. One it is easy to discard the wrong tile. It would be nice to swipe the tile away instead of touching the discard button. Two Im not sure how one would determine how strong the computer opponents are playing. Sometimes the game seems easy to beat

Game is almost great

This game is like a sketch of what it could be. There is no audio or sound effects whatsoever. The games landscape is pretty basic. There is no multiplayer forum. Additional Problems: The ad banner sometimes blocks me from leaving the different hand description page (which forces me to restart the current hand losing whatever I was working on). Some of the advanced hands will not activate hu when they are supposed to. [i.e.] Thirteen orphans and seven pairs did not work. I also found the discard button to be easy to make mistakes with. I hate to be critical of this app, but its the only apple application Ive seen that offer real mahjong and its a shame that it is so rough around the edges.

Needs polish

Its awesome to finally have a real mahjong app, but there are a few problems. UI is clunky - tile discard selection could be more intuitive, need a zoom function, would like the last discarded tile highlighted so I know what the game is offering to let me pung/kong. Also, while the game describes 88 point limit hands in the rules, it doesnt recognize them when they happen (I have screenshots to prove it). Fix it and Id happily pay money.

Real mahjong

Good real mahjong game. A bit clunky, but generally good with English translations.

Pretty good game play, BUT

...please redo the discard tile method. Its way, way too easy to throw away wrong tile! otherwise, its the beginning of a great app that I would clearly have no problem paying $$for.

Scoring issues

Some scoring hands are missed especially 7 pairs and wins off kongs. Its also a bandwidth and battery hog. However, the issues can be resolved.
